20/20: Jake Walman hits the Griddy again and the Wings pick up big win against Canucks
Fun afternoon at LCA today.
The Detroit Red Wings defeated the Vancouver Canucks 4-3 in overtime.
Here is the 20/20.
1. Jake Walman hit The Griddy, again.
In overtime with a penalty shot, the Red Wings defender sniped a shot low glove to give the Red Wings a 4-3 victory.
He then paused for a second and hit what has become his signature celebration.
Hockey is a game, games are supposed to be fun.
Walman is also using his celebration to do something for the community.
After the game Walman said he’s been working on creating merch with the silhouette of him doing The Griddy with proceeds going to the Boys & Girls Club of Detroit.
