20/20: Roope Hintz returns and Jason Robertson goes off as Stars win Game 3
Turns out getting the No. 1 center back helps a little bit.
For starters, a quick apology for this 20/20 being a bit tardy.
I was up in Saginaw, Michigan tonight covering the Memorial Cup for my other job with EP Rinkside. So I had to watch the replay back of this game after getting home.
The Dallas Stars won 5-3 to take a 2-1 series lead against the Edmonton Oilers.
Here is the 20/20.
1. Roope Hintz returned.
Since Hintz was injured in the series against the Colorado Avalanche, on a pick-play crosscheck by Nathan MacKinnon, Dallas hadn’t looked the same.
The Stars were still winning games and advancing, but they weren’t nearly as dynamic offensively nor as well-rounded. Hintz is arguably the Stars most important forward because of what he does with the puck, but also how he creates space for everyone else with his speed.
