Happy Sunday morning, let's talk about a hockey game.

Saturday was a busy and tiring, but highly enjoyable day for me watching hockey.

I spent the morning watching the National Team Development Program evaluation camp for the fine folks over at Elite Prospects, and then spent Saturday evening in East Lansing where Michigan State was upset by Ohio State in overtime of the Big 10 semifinal.

It also happened to be the second Shap Shots bowl of the season — the Dallas Stars vs. the Detroit Red Wings — which I just watched the replay of after returning home.

And as we do for every Stars-Red Wings battle, it’s time for a 20/20, let’s dive into it after a 3-2 overtime victory in Dallas.

1. The Stars have now picked up points in 15 straight games, tying a franchise record initially held by the 1998-99 team that happened to also win a Stanley Cup.

The Stars haven’t lost a game in regulation, in fact, since Jan. 22 against the Columbus Blue Jackets, a 1-0 loss that may or may not have famously featured me doing a postgame show in front of the cannon.
