20/20: Stars even series with Wild as Jake Oettinger makes a statement at home

The Dallas Stars beat the Minnesota Wild 4-2 in Game 2 of the first round of the playoffs.

Here is the 20/20.

1. Now it’s a series, right?

While we often talk about it not being a series until someone wins on the road, when it comes to a Dallas Stars’ playoff series it’s not really a series until after they’ve lost Game 1 and recovered in Game 2.

2. Jake Oettinger took some heat for Game 1, which I think wasn’t particularly fair to the goalie after the team in front of him laid a massive egg.

But his fault or not, the Stars goalie responded really well in Game 2 with 28 saves on 30 shots.
