20/20: Stars head to Denver and frustrate Avalanche in Game 3

About as good of a road game the Stars could play to take a 2-1 series lead.

The Dallas Stars regained their home-ice advantage, winning Game 3 4-1 in Denver against the Colorado Avalanche.

Let’s get into the 20/20.

1. This is what the Winnipeg Jets were allegedly going to do to the Colorado Avalanche, right?

Winnipeg was supposed to be the team that would stifle and limit Colorado, take them out of their game and frustrate them with a combination of team defense and superior goaltending.

That didn’t happen in a dominant first-round series where the Avalanche completed the gentleman’s sweep of the Jets.

Instead it was the Stars doing their best 2023 Vegas Golden Knights impression winning and dominating a game by dominating the defensive slot.
