The Western Conference Final lived up to some early hype with the Edmonton Oilers defeating the Dallas Stars 3-2 in overtime in Game 1.

That’s three straight series this spring and seven total.
The last time Dallas won Game 1 of a series? Game 1 of the 2020 Stanley Cup Final in the bubble, in Edmonton.
