20/20: Stars new young core leads way in Game 5 victory

Vegas has now been pushed to the brink.

The Dallas Stars won Game 5 3-2.

I’m thankfully not writing this way after midnight.

Let’s just get right into the 20/20.

1. The Stars core had already shifted.

It’s no longer the team of Jamie Benn or Tyler Seguin, or even Joe Pavelski.

The forward core is built and runs because of the youth.

And Wednesday was just another public declaration that this team really belongs to Jason Robertson, Wyatt Johnston, and Logan Stankoven.
