With that train of thought, here are a couple notes on things I picked up in the past couple weeks that I figured be worth sharing for subscribers here at Shap Shots.
DeBrincat to Dallas or Detroit?
Alex DeBrincat is a restricted free agent with a $9 million qualifying offer.
The Ottawa Senators could qualify him for $9 million and he’d play for them this season. That would take him to unrestricted free agency, where DeBrincat is expected to test the market and likely leave Ottawa.
