Good morning from Buffalo with another Robertson update, a Cossa trade, and helping NHL security
Happy Saturday, read this before it's out of date.
I got to be the test dummy this morning for security at the NHL Draft.
It’s OK, I didn’t do anything wrong.
I was drinking coffee in the media area around 9:15 am, when they were going through security protocols for the next shift and the security guard, who I had been talking with earlier — side note, always talk to the security guards in this business, they have great stories — asked me to try and walk through to the restricted area so he could show the next shift how my badge wouldn’t let me into that area.
Sure enough, my badge, buzzed red on the monitor, so the system was working.
OK, onto some things you want to read about…
As Robert Tiffin and I spoke about yesterday on an impromptu live episode of Algorithmically Incorrect Hockey, it feels like we are on the precipice of a conclusion to the Jason Robertson-Dallas Stars drama.
