How did a dog get into Game 7 of the Stanley Cup Final?
By far the most unique spectator of the 20,000 or so that watched the final NHL game of the season.
Near the end of the second period, from up in the press box at Amerant Bank Arena, I saw a dog sitting in glass seats for Game 7 between the Florida Panthers and Edmonton Oilers.
I had to know more.
So when I learned the dog, named Brodie, had a large social media presence I reached out to his owner, Cliff Brush, on Instagram to see if he could explain exactly how a dog ended up with glass seats for one of the biggest NHL games in at least five years.
