Near the end of the second period, from up in the press box at Amerant Bank Arena, I saw a dog sitting in glass seats for Game 7 between the Florida Panthers and Edmonton Oilers.
I had to know more.
So when I learned the dog, named Brodie, had a large social media presence I reached out to his owner, Cliff Brush, on Instagram to see if he could explain exactly how a dog ended up with glass seats for one of the biggest NHL games in at least five years.
