Soooo, Sean, can you do a piece about Turco's post playing transition? That would be really interesting to hear about! I'd also love to hear what Brendan Morrow is up to. Turco deserves his own article, but maybe also do a "Where are they now" kind of piece? I think it's a fascinating thing to see what athletes do after they retire from sports. There are some very cool stories out there!
It may be just my perception, but Modano never seemed happy being the face of the franchise. I think it's good that Dallas is recognizing his contribution, but I'm not heartbroken about him working in MN.
Turco deserves so much more kudos than he gets for his role, since he's really embraced being in the spotlight on the office side. (I may be biased since I based my own game off his, but he never got enough recognition on the ice either.) I would love an article on what he's doing now with Montoya.
Good to know how it really played out. So many fans seem salty at Modano for what has happened after his retirement, as if he wasn't the main reason for this team's (and sport's) success! Sure, it's weird he works for the Wild now, but not as weird as being mad at a guy who gave this city his all for so many years.

I've written about Turco before, but will probably follow up with him again, he's fascinating character. It's a good idea, thanks, Max.
I am equally as happy about him getting a statue and him not working for the Stars.
Great stuff, Sean!

Turco's first full starting season he should have won the Vezina. One of the biggest robberies in award history.
