COLUMBUS, Ohio — The Detroit Red Wings dominated the Columbus Blue Jackets 4-0 on Monday.

It was a matchup between two rebuilding teams and, the team that is further along in the rebuild, Detroit, looked closer to “rebuilt” against an inferior opponent.

This isn’t to say Detroit is a playoff team this season, the Eastern Conference is still a bear, but in order to be a playoff-bound team you need to regularly pickup results on the road against bad teams.
