Great game! Fun and exciting to watch. Great teams NEED great rivals, to each be their very best. Both teams should be proud of their skill, effort, and competitiveness! Regardless of the result.
I like 3 on 3 in OT at the Olympics. Given all the medals they have to give out afterward and the need to prep the ice and arena for events the next day, it’s imperative not to belabor things and run the risk of an OT that stretches into the wee hours. Plus, 3 on 3 OT when playing for a medal is damned exciting to watch. Today’s game was no exception. Fantastic finish!
It’s shocking that Michigan has no women’s D1 hockey programs. As big as men’s college hockey has been in Michigan for many decades, it borders on being downright criminal. What the hell?!

I really expected US to leverage their D
to break down Canadas box but they spent almost the entire game settling for shots at distance. Had me pretty frustrated for a bit.
Are you a fan of the 3-on-3 in OT in the Olympics? I am not. Really good game though.

The bad part of Title IX, not being able to add a women’s sport because there’s no male sport to add to keep them balanced.
Man, what a game though!
