Scatter shots: What to make of Tyler Seguin going on IR and Blake Fiddler to Team USA

Some notes I picked up today for subscribers.

I don’t have a proper story on any of these things, but a couple things caught my eye/attention on Monday, and I figured this is the perfect place to share them.

• First, at the NHL level, the Dallas Stars put Tyler Seguin on injured reserve, retroactive to last night. This means Seguin will miss at least three games over the next week.
