100 % agree about Tiffin. Rooting for him to get more recognition and a bigger audience. Between the two of you and Castillo, I feel like I get all the Stars coverage I could want.
I enjoy the stuff you put out. Team-published stuff is essentially useless at this point. ShapShots has a different angle and I thoroughly enjoy the behind the scenes pieces and technical analysis.
I haven't been as plugged into ShapShots lately but this piece checks all kinds of boxes for me. I'm pretty confident I'm not a "normal" reader so it's fine that this is out of the norm. But I absolutely love the quick hits, diverse look at different parts of the business. I especially dig the humanity of it. I think that's one thing I've always appreciated about Sean's writing.
Great piece, I'll be watching with interest to see what kind of discussion comes out of it.
I love SDPN, they are wildly entertaining, but not well informed. Insiders they are not, haha. So doesn't surprise me they might invent a narrative or 2. Def agree that Tiffin is a brilliant writer, thx for shouting him out!
This kind of article is why I truly love the freedom SubStack permits talented writers. Sure, the hockey coverage is the core of ShapShots, but it’s fascinating getting a bit of a behind the scenes glimpse along with some brain droppings.
What I don't understand about Wylde -- and I'm trying to be careful here -- is that he doesn't do stuff like this. He doesn't throw out BS rumors (especially about non-Canadien teams), nor hass Dangle's team been like this, not to mention, he's kind of plugged into hockey what with his show with Allen Walsh anyway. I'm not saying all this to gas up any potential validity to what he alluded to. He's prone to saying goofy things. But it's just so bizarre. Not to mention, irresponsible.
I like what they've done with that network and I'm actually disappointed Adam didn't respond, because I really wanted to give him the time of day to discuss this.

Different but I really liked this look into how it works

thanks, this space has been really an opportunity for me to do what I want in the world.

Me, to myself, many times a season: "Fan is short for fanatic. Fan is short for fanatic..."
Great notes
Different article, but still loved the perspective!
