Stars Thursday Observatory: Realistic expectations for each player

The season starts tonight, let's try and put a number on the goal and assist totals.

So again, we still don’t have enough usable video for the Dallas Stars.

That’s the unfortunate reality of NHL preseason, especially for a none Original Six market, where there is less pressure/demand to actual air the games.

Thankfully that changes tonight, the Stars open the season against the St. Louis Blues. I will be dropping an observation piece later this evening after the game, may even play around with audio features (but no promises).

In the meantime, I think this is the perfect space to set realistic expectations across the Stars roster.

Now, the key word is realistic. These aren’t bold predictions, in fact I’m trying to corner the market on boring predictions, but they should give a bit of a sliding scale for what to expect from each player on the Stars opening-night roster.
