Steve Yzerman preached patience in Tampa, now he's trying to apply the same lesson in Detroit
"He got us to the process where we are able to win (the Stanley Cup) the year after he left, but it didn’t happen without his footprints.”
DETROIT — The Detroit Red Wings should have beaten the Tampa Bay Lightning on Saturday.
Detroit outshot Tampa 45-18, they were the better team, by far.
But Tampa had Andrei Vasilevskiy and that was the difference in a 3-0 loss.
