The Late Game

Fun news, I’m in a movie that’s coming out next month.
It’s called The Late Game, it’s a beer league hockey movie that was filmed in Charleston, South Carolina and the trailer debuted tonight during the ECHL game between the South Carolina Stingrays and Greenville Swamp Rabbits.

We shot the movie in August of 2022 and it’s directed by my good friend Jeff Tyner, who is making his directorial debut.
The movie follows an 11 pm beer league hockey game, where the main character, Riley, subs for a team called Polly’s Pies in their game against the beer league power hose Young Genos.
I play the goalie, here’s a screen grab from the film itself.
The film is going to be officially released in mid February.

Polly's Pies was my grandparents' favorite place to buy pies. My parents were more likely to go to Marie Callender's. The Polly's Pies location near us closed, I think because of a fire, and never reopened, but the chain still exists. I haven't seen pie-heavy restaurants like that since leaving So Cal.
