What Mikael Granlund could bring to the Dallas Stars (or any other team he's traded to)
A trade might be afoot, it if happens, what would the Stars new addition bring to dallas?
I just got home from the kid’s learn-to-skate lessons and now we are about to load up the car and head to the sledding hill.
Naturally, the Dallas Stars seem to be making a major trade after putting Nils Lundkvist and Tyler Seguin on long-term injured reserve.
And according to Kevin Weekes, and I have yet to get any reason to doubt the report, Mikael Granlund is going to become a member of the Dallas Stars.
So, what would Granlund bring to Dallas if the deal goes through?
For the quick bio, he’s a left-handed Finnish center, who creates space well for others and has 45 points in 52 games this season for the struggling San Jose Sharks.
Granlund has been playing close to 20 minutes per night for San Jose, a reflection of how good (or bad) that team is, and plays a style that also fits in well defensively, it’s why Jere Lehtinen picked him the 4 Nations Tournament.
