I feel bad for Arizona hockey fans. The sports obviously thrived in the desert, the ownership was just a failure. Hopefully Utah embraces hockey similarly. I can't imagine Dallas is upset though, they no longer have a rival as Mexico's team and they don't have to worry about a team in Houston for the foreseeable future.
Is there any chance Carle signs on to be the head coach of Utah?
I think Los Angeles would also like to be Mexico's team. They are geographically closer to the border, after all, and have a heavily Hispanic population. I grew up out there and lovingly referred to my neighborhood as North Mexico.
