Both Hintz and Marchment have light blue eyes. Blue eyed people are naturally more sensitive to light and have more issues with glare. It is possible that some players are using a tinted visor because it is more comfortable. I would get almost instant headaches from the glare of the sun on my screens at work in the afternoons certain times of year, even with the window shade down. Dark mode in apps helped, but it was still a struggle and I would have eye fatigue from it. The brightness on my phone screen is the lowest it goes and it is still too bright for my preference in a dark room. Maybe these guys have had concussions and maybe it's something simpler. I would be interested to see if the number of tinted visors increases and if they are any visible trends in who opts to wear them.
