Hey Sean, I really agree with you on Mason Marchment. Over the last 12 months he's looked aimless, clumsy, and frequently passes the puck to no one.

He's also been prone to diving and takes way too many penalties.

I don't know if some popcorn time will help change his game but I do know that the team is better with either of those other guys. I also feel like he's a bit of an albatross that Duchene is carrying on that line, and I think it's important to get Duchene going sooner rather than later.

I'm not a Marchment hater but he's not passing the eye test right now and hasn't really showed much that he's likely to snap out of it.

Let's at least try giving him some press box time.

It's funny you bring up diving. Marchment was one of just two players in the NHL last season cited/fined more than once for diving.

I thought Nils Lundquist was one of the few bright spots for the Stars last night. I think he's been more responsible defensively and has been better than expected. Curious how you would grade Nils so far this season.

He and Wyatt Johnston looked good last night. Yes, they were both on the wrong end of some plays, but their game as a whole was solid.
